First planting of the season! Many thanks to our friends at  Willow Haven Farm in New Tripoli, PA, for donating a wide variety of plants to us, including cabbage, lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, and more! With no frost in the forecast, we took a chance and began planting already. Anyone who wants to help, just let us know! 

We lost all our bees over the winter. Apparently this happened to a lot of people this year. Eric the Beekeeper brought us two new hives. We will hope for the best!

Last month we asked everyone to keep Carmina’s brother Hank in prayer as he was considering a monastic vocation.

 

Since then, we discerned that we were to invite Hank to live on the farm with us, thus forming our own small community. Hank will live in our new Peter Maurin Hermitage and participate in our life on the farm - ora et labora. He brings a spirit of prayer and peace to us, for which we are grateful.
